Let me try to recap what has been happening to me lately:
(1) I brought a new 4x speed DVD Recorder, patched its firmware with a heck downloaded online and now the Recorder is running as an 8x Recorder. The recorder was pretty tricky to use and after tons of experiment I found out that it can stably burn DVD-RW at 2x speed, DVD+RW at 2x speed, DVD+W at 4x speed and DVD-R at 2X speed. Not bad for a $780 DVD Recorder.
(2) I borrowed a digital drum pad from Wah Kun (thanks dude) intended to use it as MIDI drum pad in order to do the drum session for Koks song. It didnt work out too well, as the bass drum pedal was too flimsy, and the snare drum pad dynamic was simply bad. But the worst part was that the Sampler rendering caused Sonar to crash. I guess I need somehow time today to figure out what the heck is going on.
(3) The work schedule is still tight, but I managed to strike some balance and still manage to provide drum set training for the bands in church. However, TAVAs flyer is still work in progress, something that really wants to finish today.
(4) Song writing was not having good progress. There a 2 to 3 songs that I am still writing, but they were kind of lagging in progress.
(5) BT downloading is kind of addicting. Now I have too much junk in my hard disk. Its time for me to exercise some control before I wasted a lot of time just to manage the junk that I download, and getting too obsess about optimizing the usage of my home broadband connection.
(6) Quite time is also lagging. I really have no excuse on this as the whole bible is always with me (on my Sony Clie).
(7) Thats about it. LaterK

I got back my NX70V last night. An IC was burned, and it costed me $250. Not bad consider that I already planned for the worst: getting a new PDA. And I still love my NX70V as it does everything I thrown at him so far.

My life gradually get back to what it used to be 2 weeks ago: NX70V back to function as an integrated part of my life, my home Internet connection was back to the from-not-so-good-to-crappy level. One up and one down, life is back to the equilibrium.

I had a great 8+ hours of sleeping last night. And now I feel .... strange. I guest I am not too used to feel totally aware and conscious.

Everyday I learn something new. Last Sunday I learned that if accidentally left the cap of a beverage open, and the sweet beverage spilled all over my backpack, then a GameBoy Advance SP will survive, while a Sony Clie NX70V will eventually has the screen broken. Yeah, you guess right, that was exactly what happened to my beloved NX70V. It's now in a store waiting to be fixed, and I have no idea how much it will cost me. Darn. I had my life without my PDA yesterday, and it was NOT good. I felt like I left half of my brain at home.
