The latest album by Indigo Girls, "All That We Let In", is a refreshing musical journey that kept me happy for the last one week. With all the studio production with complex layer, sampled loops and complicate-for-the-sake-of-being-complicated rhythm, it's nice to hear this 90s release an album that is so basic to the basic. I was never a big fan of folk rock except the old REM materials, but "All That We Let In" reminds me what makes good music: nice melody, elegant performance and joyful singing. This is not some sort of breakthrough album, but should your long commute become more bearable, if not turned into a joyride.
