ActiveSync 4.5, and my Chinese instllation nightmare.

I got a lot of pain with the Windows Mobile 6 running Axim x50v since I tried to install Chinese input on it. I finally got to a point that I am rolling things back to the very beginning. Right now I have PocketPC 2K3SE firmware downgrading in process.

To downgrade the OS back to 2K3SE do the following:
- expand AximX50v_WM2k3_A05_EN.rar to an SD card
- rename
DiMa_B_A05_X50v_WM2k3_ENG_nb0.crc to WM50_B_A05_X50v_WM2k3_ENG_nb0.crc
and
DiMa_B_A05_X50v_WM2k3_ENG.nb0 to WM50_B_A05_X50v_WM2k3_ENG.nb0
(and left the other 2 alone)
- Use hot key to switch to SD rom loading mode
- apply the BootLoader first.
- restart
- Now apply the WM2K3.
- When finished. Reboot.

I just found out that the rolled back OSseems to be very very slow.

The reason for this roll back was that none of the Chinese input worked with WM6.
I tried:
- CE-Star 2.8 R3a for WM356Treo CAB
- CE-Star Suite 2.8
- MonsterChinese_V6

They all failed.
