Finally going back to VMWare, and here's why
I was using Portable Virtual Box and was pretty enjoying it's ability. But now I need to finally switch back to VMWare Workstation. Why?
- Portable Virtual Box does not support networking well enough to let other machines on the network to access resource in that environment. This is super lame for my development work, because I always need to set up some virtual machines as servers like database servers or web servers. Lack of such ability totally handicap my work.
- USB device support is lame. VMWare, on the other hand, can totally access USB devices on the hosting machine directly.
