I was trying to install some software on my office machine running Windows 7 64 bit. However, I got into trouble and on iTune 64 bit and VMPlayer 3 installation. So it turns out, the OS Drive, F drive, was corrupted and affected the installation. After doing scan disk, both application installed properly. Kind of strange to me, but glad to see that things work out eventually.
