The problem started about a month ago when all the sudden there's duplicated entry showing up for every single Recorded TV episode in my Windows Media Center under Windows 7. I wasn't paying attention to it until I finally found it annoying enjoy to force me taking action. It seems like the duplication is caused by Recorded TV folder in drive U is being shared, and thus for every recorded TV file there's one entry as the local file, and one entry is a network mapped file.
Once I get rid of the network mapping on that Recorded TV folder in the file system, the duplication goes away.
